Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN on the 20th of July, 2021, as Space and Defense Correspondent. She covers everything, including NASA as well as the Space Force and commercial space companies to the advent of space tourism. Kristin was raised in the field of space as the granddaughter and daughter of NASA astronauts. In the past five years, she has covered space policies under Trump and Biden Administrations in FOX News. In that period she also reported on two impeachment trials for the president as well as the 2020 presidential campaign, and two administration's attempts to control the pandemic of coronavirus. Kristin travelled extensively, both with the president and vice president. She even went on a top-secret trip to Afghanistan alongside Donald Trump. Kristin worked her way through the local news markets of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, as well as Washington, D.C. for more than a decade prior to joining the CBS network. She won one Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. as a CBS station's reporter who was a one-man band. With her experience on the set, Kristin established Field Mouse Films in 2014, which specialized in making documentary-style films for corporate clients, such as Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism at Boston University. She lives with her husband and their two children in Washington, D.C., and has a three-year old daughter.
