Louisa Krause has been an actor for more than 20 years. Her most well-known role was Anna Garner, the main character in The Girl Experience. Brenda Woodberg played her first part on the screen in Babysitters, where she appeared as Brenda Woodberg. Krause first studied drama as a student at college, and then appeared in Broadway and off Broadway performances. The family of her father is half-Japanese origin as is her mother who is American. Her younger brother Nathaniel is a director. She discovered her love for the arts at a young age when she began studying dance at the Washington School of Ballet in Washington D.C. Once she entered high school dance was a distant memory until she started performing in Henry Krieger's Bill Russell's variety of plays and musicals including Side Show as Violet Hilton. She attended the Carnegie Mellon Drama School after graduation from high school. Krause decided to launch her acting career shortly after. Her Equity card through her performance in a musical based on Aida. Louisa Krause began her career in the theatre. She made her debut in 2006 at her company, the Huntington Theatre Company. She also played Iphigenia at the Signature Theater Company's Iphigenia 2 performance.
